Travel Print Gift Ideas: Personalised Gifts for People Who Love to Travel
Buying a gift for someone who loves to travel can be surprisingly tricky. They may already own the luggage, the guidebooks and the travel pillow. What they rarely have is something that celebrates the places they have actually been. That is where a personalised travel print comes in.
In this guide we look at why travel prints make such memorable gifts, the designs in our new Travel Print Gift Ideas collection, and how to choose the right one for the occasion.
Why a personalised travel print makes a great gift
Travel is about memories, and a print puts those memories on the wall where they can be enjoyed every day. Unlike a gift that is used up or tucked away in a drawer, a travel print becomes part of the home.
- It is personal. You choose the destinations that matter to the person you are buying for, so no two gifts are the same.
- It suits almost any occasion. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, retirement, leaving gifts, housewarmings and Christmas all work well.
- It works for every kind of traveller. From the couple who honeymooned in Italy to the family with a favourite Cornish beach, there is a design to match.
- It looks good. Our prints are bright, colourful and designed to look great on a wall, shelf or gallery wall.
Our travel print gift ideas
Favourite Places travel collage print (landscape)
Our landscape Favourite Places travel collage brings your favourite holiday locations together in one bright, vibrant print. Choose how many destinations to include, pick your size, and select from fine art, framed or canvas finishes. It is ideal for couples, friends and anyone who has built up a collection of favourite trips.
Favourite Places travel collage print (portrait)
If you have more wall space to fill vertically, the portrait Favourite Places collage offers the same personalised idea in a portrait layout. Choose from 4, 6, 9 or 12 destinations, in a wide range of sizes from A4 up to large format prints, with framed and canvas options available.
Airport departures board print
For a more playful gift, the Airport Departures Board print is designed in the style of an airport departures board. It is a fun nod to the excitement of heading off on a trip, and a great way to list the places you have been or the places you are dreaming of visiting next.
How to choose the right travel print gift
- Think about the destinations. Make a short list of the places that mean the most, such as a honeymoon, a first family holiday or a favourite city break.
- Decide how many to include. More destinations make a richer collage, while fewer give each place more space.
- Choose a size. Smaller sizes suit a desk, shelf or gallery wall, while larger prints make a statement piece above a sofa or bed.
- Pick a finish. Fine art prints are a great choice if you already have a frame in mind. Framed options remove the need to shop for one, and canvas is available for UK customers.
- Add a personal touch. Free personalisation lets you include names, dates or a short message to make the gift truly one of a kind.
How personalisation works
Personalising your print is simple. Choose the number of destinations and the size you would like, then send us the destinations you want included and any names, dates or text to add. We will send you a mock-up to approve before anything is printed, so you can be confident it is just right before it is made.
Delivery and timing
We aim to despatch orders within 2 to 5 days, and prints are sent from the UK. Because every print is personalised and the mock-up needs approving first, we recommend ordering in plenty of time if you are buying for a birthday, wedding or Christmas. See each listing for current delivery details.
